Job description / Role
The Commercial Manager will be a leading the Cost and Commercial team on the program, focusing on the cost and commercial performance of the program whilst possessing great knowledge on pre- and post-contracts practices.
Requirements
- BSc or Bachelors in relevant engineering field
- 10 to 15 years’ post-degree experience, ideally MRICS qualified or equivalent
- Candidates with international experience will have an added advantage
- Experience in team building and exceptional client relationship skills
- Flexible to changing requirements
- Ability to motivate and impart knowledge
- Commercial awareness in rapidly changing sector
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Keep up to date with industry developments with respect to own discipline, other disciplines and engineering innovations and developments on a global scale.
- Knowledge of recognised programme control principles (procurement, earned value management, risk management, contract administration, claims resolution and change control).
- Comprehend, analyse and assess budgets, cost plans, cash flows, consultant and contractor applications, and the change/variation process
