Job description / Role
A luxury international brand is seeking a Commercial Manager to manage their Cosmetic & Beauty portfolio. We are seeking an experienced individual who has strong brand management, buying and marketing experience with premium cosmetic and beauty brands. You will be responsible for managing a team of two buyers and report directly into the Vice President.
Responsibilities:
* Managing the P&L- responsible for the sales and profitability of portfolio
* Developing and maintaining relationships with premium/ luxury cosmetic brands globally
* Enrolling the brands into the portfolio that will consist of fragrance, makeup, cosmetics, skincare and spa
* Managing the beauty rooms/ concessions along with the brands
* Managing the Spa business with chosen partner
* Developing annual marketing & communication plans- setting activations around new product launches and promotions
* Managing stock flow and inventory
Requirements
* At least 8 years professional experience working with premium beauty/ cosmetic brands
* Previous managerial experience is essential
* Strong knowledge of the latest products and global trends within cosmetics and beauty
* Strong negotiator and have the ability to influence and motivate a team
* Creative, innovative and highly commercial approach
* Ability to work within a multicultural team
* Willingness to relocate and live in Doha
