Job description / Role
Contract Administrator - Project Management Company - Qatar
The contracts administrator will be responsible for complying with the policies and procedures of the company and ensuring effective monitoring of all contractual terms and conditions relating to all stages of the project/s undertaken by the company.
Responsibilities and Major Activities:
* Assist in establishing standardized contracting guidelines for project teams, clients, etc. in relation to procurement, supplier agreements, vendor contracts, etc.
* Assist in establishing best practices in the preparation of contract documents and tenders.
* Assist in specifying contractual terms, timelines and service level agreements.
* Assist in managing contract administration and negotiations.
* Monitor contractor performance, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements.
* Analyze and plan the termination and extension of contractual agreements, while providing continued support to business units.
* Establish and develop professional relationships with peer professionals in the industry.
* Remain updated on best practices on contracts and procurement.
* Ensure compliance of all contracts and procurement activities with various government and regulatory requirements of Qatar.

Requirements
* Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Construction Law, Quantity Surveying or similar discipline
* Bilingual - Arabic and English communication skills are a must
* Minimum 10 years post qualification relevant experience in similar position
* Membership of a recognized institution or organization, e.g. RICS, is preferable
