Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Contracts Administrator

• Prepare request for proposals, scope of work and related documents to initiate a contract process.
• Coordinate with various department Managers and Heads to collect relevant information on project requirements as a part developing scope of work.
• Administer and supervise contract monitoring, contract administration and compliance.
• Ensure timely follow up on the statuses of the submitted proposals.
• Review the proposals from the bidders to ensure compliance with the Scope of Work that was submitted.
• Arrange Technical Evaluation Committee meetings and actively participate in the meetings and provide appropriate feedback to the Contracts Section/GTC.
• Responsible for on-going, proactive involvement with project management in review of project status, including review of contractual status to ensure compliance with contractual terms and milestones and identification of changes in scope in contracts.
• Develop and prepare regular reports on the status of contracts.
• Determine the priorities, goals and objectives of work functions assigned.
• Implement and interpret policies and procedures. Develop, recommend and coordinate the implementation of new procedures for the assigned function.
• Maintain computer database for the contract management system.
• Prepare/Review change requests and change orders for various projects
• Develop and implement contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with prior to final completion;
• Provide contractual advice in the evaluation of interim and final payment certificates.
• The incumbent will undertake any such appropriate duties or responsibilities as directed.
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying (QS), construction management, civil engineering or related field preferably with chartered status
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement/contract management
• Strong knowledge in contract matters
• Well experienced in Contract supervision/management
