Contracts Manager - Doha
SAR 55,000 - SAR 60,000 per month + Flight, Bonus & Medical (negotiable)
Our client is a world renowned Main Contractor who has recently secured a number of Infrastructure schemes in Doha. They are urgently seeking a road/highway experienced Contracts Manager to join them on this scheme. This project gives the opportunity to work on one of the flagship schemes in the region for the next 3-4 years.
The duties and responsibilities of the role are:
* Setting up the Contract Administration function for the Project and providing it with ongoing supervision and support;
* Overseeing the implementation of the Project Manual requirements, including the utilization of standard letters and monitoring of Client/Contractor correspondence;
* Supervise monthly interim payment applications;
* Implementation of measures to identify and formalize variations, with the Agreement of Star Rates and other matters of potential dispute;
* The management of opportunities and risks inherent in the Project;
* Allocation of staff and resources to respective parts of the Project in order to efficiently manage the Contract Administration service requirements of the Construction Managers;
* To review Final Accounts and Applications for Payments prior to submission to the Employer/Engineer;
* Ensure that the Contract Administration Department requirements of the Project Quality Management System are established and implemented and kept current with revisions and updates;
Requirements
* BSc/BEng or Equivilant
* 10 -15 Years Experience.
* Candidates with Middle East experience will be highly preferred.
* Specialist knowledge: FIDIC
* 15 years post graduate experience
* Experience of a major infrastructure, particularly road or highways schemes in the last five years.
* MRICS certification (desired)
* Degree qualified (desired)
* Main Contractor background.
* Middle East experience preferred but not essential.
