Contracts Manager - QATAR

Our client is a leading project development and construction company based in the Middle East and North Africa. Operating in the region since 1976, the Group provides a unique combination of international experience and local knowledge to its clients.
They are a diversified provider of comprehensive, purpose designed services with an impressive portfolio of large scale government, semi-government and private clientile such as Abu Dhabi Municipality Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, Nakheel, Qatar Petroleum to name few.

They are looking to hire an experience Contracts Manager - QATAR for their projects in Qatar.

Skills:

- He will be responsible for ensuring effective execution of a project FIDIC contract, management of the project contract function as well as the administration of the main contract.

- He will also be responsible for the compliance of contract notice requirements, identification and production of claims and variation order requests for time and cost, maintain change order register, management of commercial interface with client, other parties and subcontractors, production of project invoices, prepare internal and external weekly and monthly reports, assist in settling any dispute between the client & contractor.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Ideal candidate should have a BSc in QS / Civil Engineering, with minimum 15 years experience (out of which at least 6 years in same role in the Middle East) in similar capacity with a renowned contractor for roads, infrastructure, etc. projects.
• Should have excellent leadership and management skills, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, computer proficiency, excellent oral and written English language skills.
• Westerners and Indians preferred, but not compulsory.
• Up to 50 years old.
