Contracts Manager

The Contracts Manager performs strategic and operational oversight on the division’s policies and procedures. He/she reviews and guides the work of both the cost controller and quantity surveyors for specific projects to the efficient completion of tasks related to Contracts Administration, Cost Engineering and Quantity Surveying. The Contracts Manager also acts as a key internal consultant on projects at the design and construction phase as well as the arbitration of any disputes that can arise within projects.

- Preparation/Review of contracts between employer–consultants–designers–contractors.
- Performing contract administration tasks.
- Performing cost management analysis for different projects.
- Performing risks management analysis for different projects.
- Dispute resolution including mediation.
- Performing claims review for projects.
- Advising project managers on major contractual issues.
- Preparation/Participation in making proposals.
- Tenders evaluation – financial section.
- Maintenance of historical cost database.
- Implementation of control procedures.
- Participation in various tasks to enhance technological base of operations.
- Performs such duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

- Must have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Must have atleast 15 years of experience
- Must be based in Doha with an NOC for visa transfer from current sponsor
- Preferably a certified member of RICS, CIOB or CIQS
