Job description / Role
My client is one of the largest Construction Contractors Working Across Europe, Asia and the GCC specializing in major Infrastructure, Turnkey and Civils projects.
As part of their long-term growth strategy and due to recent project wins, they are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with an excellent understanding of the Infrastructure and civil engineering market. They are looking to offer a fantastic salary plus benefits.
The successful candidate MUST have previous experience within a similar role and projects.
Roles and Responsibilities (But not limited to):
- Draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters
- Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation
- Provide contract related issue resolution, both internally and externally
- Monitor and complete contract closeout, extension or renewal, as appropriate
- Communicate contract related information to all stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in a similar position
- Previous GCC experience
- Located in Qatar and available in a month or less for a quick start
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not essential)
- Demonstrated negotiation and problem solving skills
- Ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints
- Proven experience with all forms of contracts (FIDIC, JCT, AIA etc)
