We are looking for a Contracts Manager and a Commercial Manager to work for a MEP Contractor in Doha, Qatar

Job Role:
- Commercial Manager
- Reports to Commercial Director – Cost Control /Commercial /Procurement/ Stores & Logistics comes under Commercial Manager
- Interact with the other departments like Projects, Accounts and other Departments for an assurance of the quantity of work completed.
- Responsible for all “Commercial issues“ related to projects including Cost Management, Budget control, Cash flow monitoring and control, Inventory control, Procurement savings, Rate Contract negotiation, Sub Contract negotiation & management, final accounts, etc;
- In addition to project commercial issues, employee shall also be responsible for company overhead and other operational expenses.
- Generate necessary cost Vs budget reports and submit to management on regular basis.
- Allocate budget for training and company events and ensure it is being used as required.
- Scrutinize the purchase orders of all major equipment’s to protect interest of company and ensure all terms and conditions that required for supply, documentation, testing commissioning and training, are comprehensively correct.
- Involve in negotiation with major suppliers along with procurement team.
- Monitor project wise material cost, labour cost & over heads against budget and ensure, cost are well within the budget and submit monthly reports to management.
- Finalize the draft subcontract agreement with Suppliers/subcontractors.
- Monitor the cash flow of all projects and report to management on regular intervals.
- Coordinate & deal with clients when required to resolve imminent disputes.
- Ensure the positive cash flow by regular follow up and on-time payment collection.
- Budgeting & Estimating, Cost Planning, Management, Procurement, Project Planning, Controls, Project Management. Preparation and Review of Tender Docs, Consultancy Agreements & Contract Docs (FIDIC/ JCT), Managing Procurement Process, Consultants & Contractors Pre-Qualification, Contract Selection, , Cost Reports and Monitor Cash Flow Forecasts, Interim Payments and Final Accounts, Value Eng, Cost Data, Earned Value Management, KPI's, Risk Management, Feasibilities, Cost Planning, BoQ Production, Claims and Dispute Resolution

Requirements

- Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) with additional professional qualifications like RICS, PMP, C.I.arb.
- Must have 12 years’ experience with Minimum of 5 years in the Middle East
- Relevant experience and Project Cost Management, FIDIC, SMM, CESMM on major high rise commercial, residential buildings & multibillion infrastructure projects in an Electro-Mechanical Contracting Company.
- Experienced in Budgeting & Estimating, Cost Planning, Management of variation , Claims, Arbitrations, Procurement, Project Planning Controls, Project Management
- Experience in contract related document response and contract drafting.
- Working knowledge of the following contract types preferred: FIDIC/JCT/NEC
- Advanced proficiency in current technology across project management, design and reporting
- Thorough knowledge of international forms of construction contract conditions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Professional Member of AACEI /RICS/PMP/C.I.arb.
