Job Description

What you will be doing:

- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Provide HOD's with accurate delivery note details in order to establish purchasing accruals at the end of the accounting periods
- On daily basis, ensure security of the storage and receiving areas are under your control
- Manage the team for which you are responsible and ensure that they are trained and monitored to carry out the Company's processes
- Maintain department stock requirements, identifying shortages in advance and ensuring the order is placed
- Check, weigh, temperature probe and store all deliveries appropriately
- Ensure all credit notes are requested and received and delivery notes correspond correctly to orders with the correct pricing
- Check all storerooms are clean at all times
- Review purchase requisitions considering issues such as lead times, standardization, quantity discounts, and purchasing budgets
- Conduct market price surveys in coordination with HODs to ensure best pricing
- Audit prices and quantity variances as per daily Receiving Variance Report.
- Ensure the inventory items and services which are bought and used in providing guests services and facilities are stored and used in the controlled manner and according to accounting principles.
- Other relevant duties as required

Requirements

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum 2 years of similar experience from 5 star hotels
- Understanding of computers applications with a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Micros and Opera preferred
- Good communication and customer contact skills
- Ability to work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
- Proven strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and multitasking skills
