Customer Service Advisor - Doha

The British Council Qatar is recruiting two Customer Service Advisors. We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to deliver an effective quality driven first line service to customers, clients and stakeholders at the British Council Qatar, ensuring that customers receive the information and services they need in a friendly, professional, efficient and responsive environment. The post holders will also be responsible to meet Customer Service Excellence Standards in all contacts with customers.

This is a frontline post which is fully integrated within the office. The job holders will be working closely with the Teaching Centre, the Examinations unit and Partnerships & Programmes team.The Customer Service team is a group of twelve Customer Service Advisors and led by a Customer Service Manager and Deputy Customer Service Manager.

Pay Band H / QAR8,858 per month / Indefinite Terms / Doha, Qatar / Application Start Date: 04 October 2015 / Application Closing Date: 18 October 2015 at 23:59 UK time / Joining Date: As soon as possible – 1 December 2015 at the latest

Requirements

Applicants should have at least some work/volunteering experience in a customer-facing role and have completed their Secondary Education.

They must also possess the following skills:
- English - Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing (Level B2)
- Arabic - Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing (Level C1)
- Communicating & Influencing (Level 2)
- Managing Finance and Resources (Level 2)
- Planning & Organizing (Level 1)
- Using Technology (Level 1)
