Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• The station staffs are responsible for the ensuring that the station environment is maintained in a clean and safe manner and responding to customer needs.
• In the event of an emergency the station staff will have designated duties which will include evacuation, crowd control, responding to alarms i.e. persons stuck in lifts or disabled toilets.
• In the event of a PSD failure the station staff will liaise directly with the TC and SM to undertake the necessary response which may include locking a PSD out of service and adding appropriate signage or undertaking manual PSD door operations from the override panel.
• The station staff will undertake the fare media sales and information activities, including selling, accounting for, stock control and replenishment of automatic systems.
• The station staff will assist in the accountability and reconciliation of cash and prepare it for collection by the nominated courier.
• The station staff will manage the gate line and assist passengers directly at the gate line by either manually operating the gate to allow the passenger through, or assisting passengers to purchase a valid ticket.

Requirements

Qualifications / Skills Expectations for Ideal Candidates

• Arabic Language is a must
