Design Manager

Job description / Role

- Assesses new and released products for alternative design and construction methods, standardization, and optimized process applications.
- Liaises with suppliers to assess, optimize and standardize construction processes.
- Reviews vendor analysis for agility, core competencies, and construction process capabilities.
- Makes sourcing recommendations to the appropriate procurement resource.
- Provides construction related consulting internal to the client and external to the suppliers.
- Reviews fair market value analysis performed by Managers and Supervisors on product procurement methods.
- Support associated supplier negotiations as required.
- Assess feasibility of material cost reduction projects and implement in accordance with the Project Delivery Process.
- Performs such duties as assigned from time to time
- Serves as strategic and technical expert on specialized projects or programs; acts as advisor to management and/or customers.
- Manage the design team
- Carries performance review for direct reports and referee other reviews

Requirements

- Design Manager
- Background: Architecture
- 15 years of experience
- Fluent in French , English, Arabic is a privilege
- With solid experience in stadium design management
- Located in Qatar
