Design Manager - Architect

Job description / Role

As Design Manager you will be responsible for managing and leading high profile consultancy teams including architects & structural engineers, whilst liaising with the project management and commercial departments and contractors.

The right individual will be an experienced Design Manager who has worked on major building projects. Comfortable managing stakeholders across all levels you will ensure the highest quality at all times.

A stable track record is important alongside the possession of excellent design management and communication skills.

Requirements

- Architecture Background.
- Extensive Knowledge of Design Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and ideally professionally qualified
- Previous experience with a consultancy, project management company or international blue chip contracting or Construction management company
- Hospitals, schools, leisure, stadium or mixed use development project experience.
- Ability to manage stakeholders at a senior level.
- Proven experience in architectural design, building systems and construction management.
