Job description / Role
An experienced and astute claims management consultant is needed for a Director level role for an international consultancy based in Qatar.
This leading consultancy is looking for someone with a solid background in both infrastructure and buildings projects with a proven track record working "hands on" with claims.
Duties will include claims preparation/defence and dispute resolution as well as forensic investigation into the causes of delay and preparation of the claims narrative.
Requirements
Candidates will have experience leading a team, being client facing and have a strong personality with excellent analytical, problem solving, planning and contract administration skills as well as experience with FIDIC forms of contract.
They will also have experience in contract and commercial advice as well as procurement, contract drafting and bid management.
* 15-20 years of experience in the construction industry and experience with both contractors and claims consultants
* Quantity Surveying degree
* Chartered
* Member of recognised institution or regulatory body preferred
* Exposure to expert witness work preferred
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
