Job Purpose

The role oversees the transition of investments and potential projects to stakeholders in a timely manner and follow up ensuring a successful transition management through developing a knowledge unit to answer the questions or concerns potential leads may have and facilitating knowledge development and sharing across the IPA.

The job holder manages the daily operations of the Investor Relations Department through maintaining teamwork within the department to ensure an efficient and harmonious way of achieving departmental goals.

Key Accountabilities

• Develops and implements an integrated stakeholder engagement programs and initiatives to improve and enhance the perceptions and experiences of clients and communities.
• Leads specific stakeholder outreach initiatives, dialogue and other forms of engagement to understand key concerns and issues and inform review enhancement of services.
• Oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic, tactical and operational stakeholder engagement plan, programs, projects and initiatives to align with the IPA’s vision, goals and direction.
• Manage the IPA’s external communications with stakeholders, media and social media channels (in coordination with the Director- Marketing and Investment Promotion.
• Establishes partnerships with national and international organizations to ensure overseas representation and accords partnerships through implementing memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the IPA and its various stakeholders as well as managing the potential leads.
• Liaises with local government entities in the country to ensure a close and robust professional relationship is maintained.
• Identifies critical and competitive Incentive Management opportunities that directly serve the image of the IPA and helps strengthen its position as one of the leading promotion agencies regionally and globally.
• Develops KPIs and other metrics, and ensures abidance to these, in order to measure the effectiveness of implemented and used investor relations programs.
• Keeps abreast with global knowledge and best practices in the field of Investor Relations across the globe.
• Ensures that relevant processes are being conducted by the relevant departments, especially when it concerns stakeholder satisfaction and demands.
• Ensure professional and beneficial continues communication to avoid overlap in the work implemented.

Requirements

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economy or related discipline. Preferably an MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification from a recognised business school would be an advantage.
• Minimum Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience including at least 5 years in positions with managerial responsibilities
