Job description / Role
The Director - Leasing Retail will be responsible for managing the leasing real estate function, focusing on ensuring maximum occupancy of rental properties and achieving maximum rent, profitability and revenue growth.
The incumbent's responsibilities will include:
* Developing strategic business and budget plans for the leasing function.
* Building strategic relationships - both internally and externally- and ensuring the highest and nest use of all vacant spaces by strengthening relations with various other market holders - regional and international and various brands, etc.
* Ensuring tenant/ customer satisfaction.
* Maximizing profit
* Implementing, developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure efficient work-flow and staff management.

Requirements
* Bachelors degree in real estate, business administration or a related field.
* Relevant professional certificate will be an added advantage
* 15+ years in commercial leasing with a minimum of 8 years in a senior management position
* Previous experience in retail leasing or selling
* Working knowledge of the commercial leasing process, real estate law and corporate finance.
* Ability to demonstrate and deliver P&L management competencies
* Strong knowledge of real estate assets and markets - global key markets
