Job description / Role
The Director of Staff Management organizes and maintains an integrated staffing system to provide an effective nursing workforce and a database for Nursing Administration.
- Maintain and update an electronic master staffing record for all corporate nursing staff.
- Develop and maintain a staffing system that takes into consideration Corporate and Nursing Department goals and objectives, manpower budget projections, recruitment and personnel selection policies.
- Maintain nursing information data (turn over rate, vacancy rate by specialty etc) at corporate level and communicate the data on quarterly basis with the facility Director of Nursing, Executive Director of Nursing Services Department, Assistant Managing Director for Operations and Managing Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing + post graduate diploma in Nursing Specialty
- Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing or Nursing Administration
Experience Requirement:
- 5 years experience in health care management and in the practice of nursing in a clinically complex tertiary center.
- Working knowledge of Performance Improvement Process and International Standards
