Job description / Role
KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
We are seeking for an Electrical Engineer on the Design Review team, who will be responsible for making design decisions and recommendations based on the project requirements. Must be able to effectively communicate with and direct the work of other engineers and drafters on your team to successfully meet project targets and deadlines.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
- Reviewing documents in all phases for completeness, interdisciplinary coordination, design intent, including appropriate and contextual use of materials and master plan intent, and code compliance.
- Strong communication both written and verbal and organization skills.
- Coordination with design consultants and internal colleagues with regards to any design changes.
- Working within a multi-disciplinary environment and sharing and coordinating work in order to meet project requirements and deadlines
- Extensive experience in electrical design on a variety of projects.
- Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
Requirements
- BSc in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional registration from a recognized body would be preferred.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Prior experience in the Gulf Region is preferred advantageous.
