Electrical Package / Construction Manager

Job description / Role

As the Electrical Package / Construction Manager, you will be working closely with the Project Manager to achieve quality installations on a range of high value buildings and infrastructure projects in Qatar. Ideally degree qualified with experience motivating large teams on similar projects within Europe, this is an excellent opportunity to join an established business in Qatar for candidates already in the GCC or seeking their first move.

THE ROLE
- Responsible for the delivery of the electrical package to project requirements, including safety, technical requirements, programme and commercial/contractual aspects of the package.
- Ensure the package meets site safety, building code and environmental standards
- Managing a culturally diverse team
- Attend client meetings, deliver progress reports and all other required documentation
- Responsible for Health and Safety and ensuring industry compliance targets are met
- Day to day project management of the electrical aspects of the build
- Leading by example with regards to H&S and compliance

Requirements

- Proven track record in the successful delivery of electrical packages within high value and complex projects in Europe
- Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent an advantage
- Strong technical, commercial and contractual skills
- A basic understanding of AutoCAD with the ability to interpret drawings and communicate the practical application of the plans to site - anticipating any problems or risks to the MEP project manager and contributing to acceptable resolutions in a pro-active manner
