Job description / Role
Keen to transfer your skills to the Middle East but dont have experience in the region? My client has an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join them in their offices in Doha, Qatar. Working on a variety of buildings and infrastructure projects, reporting to the MEP Project Manager - you will be responsible for delivering all electrical packages from pre-construction to final handover.
THE ROLE
- Report to the MEP Project Manager
- Responsible for Electrical Package for projects
- Design review, and advising of any constructability issues to the MEP PM
- Attend client and internal progress meetings
- Responsible for Health and Safety, supervision of staff and subcontractors
- Updating weekly reports
Requirements
- Ideally degree qualified BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience working as a Project engineer role within a contractor
- Good Technical background, with the ability to execute high quality electrical packages and deliver projects on time
- Ability to think on your feet, with a solutions oriented approach
- Good team managements skills
- Commercially focussed
- Flexible approach and enthusiasm for working on diverse high value projects
