Job description / Role
Provide technical support for trouble-shooting and repair of all electrical systems in the company's plant, offsite area, and offshore facilities in order to ensure operational continuity
Main responsibilities:
- Deliver Electrical technical support services for all electronic equipments and instrumentation & control systems of assigned areas and facilities in the gas production plant, offsite area and offshore facilities in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Plan, coordinate and follow up engineering services offered to Field Maintenance section under the direct supervision of the Lead EI&C Support Engineer.
- Review electrical engineering project plans and drawings and provide technical advice and assistance, making recommendations based upon field observation and maintenance needs.
- Monitor contractor’s performance and quality of services to ensure compliance with their contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Instrumentation & Control/Automation Engineering
- 3 years’ relevant experience in Electrical Engineering and Maintenance in Oil & Gas
Skills and Competencies:
- Effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Sound technical and business knowledge
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- IT/PC literate
