Carry out maintenance of electronic and communication equipments and controls as directed by his Engineer or Supervisor, to the standard and performance set by the Department.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of the HMC mission, vision and values.
- Perform routine maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair of all electronic equipments and components such as TVs, VCRs, antennae systems and other audio-visual equipments.
- Maintenance of fire alarm system and installation of same.
- Maintenance and installation of communication systems such as nurse call system, intercoms and paging system.
- Maintenance of closed circuit T.V. and other security systems.
- Maintenance of equipments electronic controls.
- First-line maintenance of computers and peripherals.
- Must be able to work thru electronic/electrical diagrams and drawings.
- Complies with HMC policies and procedures; and in particular infection control, safety and quality management.
- Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

- High School Diploma, plus technical course graduate in Electronics and Communication
- Preferred: Electronics Service Technician, Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering w/ practical training
- Experience: Minimum: 10 yrs
- Preferred: more than 10 years in similar position

Language Skills: English Basic
Computer Skills: Intermediate, PC hardware & OS

Key Competencies:
- Trouble-shooting of electronics and communication equipments in which theoretical and practical knowledge is required. Sometimes with the guidance of supervisor but usually solve equipment problems by himself.
- Works with minimum supervision.
