The Employment Services Specialist functions as the project manager for the global mobilization process from candidate selection through relocation, transition and eventually repatriation. This position acts as the primary point of contact for candidates, faculty, staff, and their families during the mobilization and post-arrival transitional period. It is the key position responsible ensuring that employees and their families are transitioning smoothly and efficiently. The position works closely with others in WCMC-Q to effectively plan, develop processes, and implement best practices to support the mobilization function. Also coordinates multiple internal and external resources, vendors, schools, and support services based on a needs assessment of the person being mobilized.

Position Activities:
- Functions as the project coordinator for the global employee mobilization process, and acts as the primary point of contact for candidates, faculty, staff, and their families during the mobilization and post-arrival transitional period. At termination of employment, this individual coordinates the repatriation process.
- Assesses the needs of those relocating to Qatar and or joining the organization and ensures alignment with proper internal and external resources, services, schools, etc.
- Develops and assesses mobilization procedure, utilizing best practices. Develops and delivers training and one-on-one education to appropriate faculty and staff on multiple issues central to mobilization.
- Supporting mobilization, this position maintains awareness and relationships with Doha school administrators to ensure applicants and employees are advised of educational options. Maintains strong and positive relationships with school administrators to ensure placement of employee’s dependents in their preferred school whenever possible.
- Responsible for pre-departure orientations, visa application processing, arranging and confirming ground and air travel arrangements, coordinates personal goods shipments, liaises with the housing department to insure the availability of adequate transitional housing, arranging elementary secondary school placement for WCMC-Q’s faculty and staff, and providing effective post-relocation transitional support services. Liaison with travel agency to arrange and confirm ground and air travel arrangements.
- Coordinates the new hire orientation program, working closely with Senior Management to ensure the smooth delivery of the program.
- Researches and recommends methods of re-engineering and revitalizing various mobilization functions; Investigates and applies current technology and state-of-the-art technical solutions such as computerization and Web based applications to enhance and streamline processes.
- Ensure smooth running of the Buddy Program.
- Performs other job related duties as required.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three or more years professional level experience managing coordinating programs projects to successful completion.
- Previously demonstrated basic level proficiency in MS Suite of products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previously demonstrated advanced level oral and written English communication skills.
- Previously demonstrated advanced level interpersonal skills.

Highly Desired Requirements:
- Prior experience in an international, healthcare or academic environment.
- Prior experience in Middle East work environment.
- Prior experience in a multi-cultural working environment.
- Knowledge of Doha schools, medical services, housing, shopping, leisure activities.
- Prior experience in expatriate mobilization and or immigration.
- Prior experience working in a Human Resources function.
