EPCM Inspection Coordinator

Job description / Role

We are currently recruiting for an EPCM Inspection Coordinator for our Doha Operations.

Responsibilities:
- Managing the inspection coordination of project procurement equipment orders, liaising with the client, suppliers and inspectors
- Review and approve Supplier/Subcontractor Quality Control Plans / Inspection test plans and procedures
- Ensure review, witness and monitor activities are conducted as per the approved supplier/subcontractor Quality Control Plans / Inspection test plans
- Be familiar with the requisition requirements and equipment / material specifications
- Be fully familiar with the verification and inspection release processes and ensure their compliance
- Monitor close-out of supplier/subcontractor non-conformances
- Review supplier/subcontractor fabrication and certification dossiers
- Report promptly to the Project Quality Lead all matters related to the project quality management system performance
- Ensure all relevant quality records are kept updated and retained
- Provide performance data
- Assist in undertaking both internal and external audit activities

Requirements

- Recognized technical or professional qualification such as HND or trade apprenticeship
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in oil and gas Project delivery
- Previous Shell experience and knowledge
- Ability to cope with conflict situations
- Inspection/coordination experience
- Engineering/inspection background
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards
- NDE level 2 certified
