Estimation Proposal Director

Job description / Role

WRS are working with one of Qatar's largest contractors who are currently looking for an Estimation Proposal Director. They are looking to appoint someone to come in and control all the tendering for their upcoming and current projects.

This contractor currently has a workforce of over 4,000 and many projects across the region in the build and civil sectors. Handsome packages are also on offer.

Your main responsibilities:
- Directing the Estimation Manager and ensuring the smooth running of the Estimating and Proposals teams
- Producing estimates from first principles including all indirect costs
- Reviewing the estimate rate calculations and resource planning

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered membership of a professional organisation

- Minimum of 20 years successful experience in tendering and estimations
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in the GCC
- Extensive knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and QS related software
