Estimation Proposal Director

Job description / Role

Client is an international based construction services company and is currently recruiting for an Estimation Proposal Director to join their team in Qatar.

Responsibilities of the role include;
- Able to produce an estimate from first principles including all indirect cost
- Detailed knowledge of construction contractual matters as well in quantity surveying methods, techniques and tools for contracting
- Knowledge in resources planning, detailed estimate rate calculations etc.
- Experience on ERP system is preferred.
- Knowledge of local material rate, labor gang productivities and Subcontractors.

Requirements

- Excellent English written and communication skills is a must
- 20 year’s experience in Tendering and Estimation
- BSc in Civil Engineering
- Chartered Membership such as CIOB or MRICS
- “Experience” in Cost estimating packages such as CCS (Candy)
- Buildings and Infrastructure project experience may help with your application
- Contractor background
