Finance Manager, Qatar

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the complete the financial management, accounting, tax and treasury activities of business and its operation in Doha.
- Ensure timely and accurate Management information consistent with the company’s process, policy and ethos wherever possible.
- Manage the financial audits and ensure tax compliance
- Full responsibility for the collection of debt and working capital management
- Primary ownership for cost control monitoring, flagging issues and identifying corrective action.
- Responsible for the annual budget as well as monthly forecasts and other corporate reporting requirements
- Liaises with Insurance Brokers and ensures appropriate Insurance policies are put in place and renewed as necessary.
- Responsible for timely management reporting and analysis
- Responsible for building and developing the finance team.
- Builds and promotes positive working relationships with all external suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities
- Lead and manage any ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

- Finance degree level qualification from a reputable university or equivalent level of experience
- Must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA)
- Must have experience of living and working in the Middle East.
- Fluency in English, good working knowledge of Arabic a distinct advantage.
- Excellent commercial experience in the management of large budgets and projects.
- Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft office packages, email systems and spreadsheets essential.
- Ability to work independently, resolve non-recurring issues and introduce process improvement
- Ability to lead, coach and develop a team
