Finance Officer - Financial Accounting & Reporting - Qatar Airways - Doha

In this role you will be responsible to maintain accurate, complete, reliable accounting information complying with existing QR groups.

You will prepare and monitor month end/year end accounting closing timeline by interacting with the management, review balance sheets and summarize the review points monthly, prepare and update the company financial policy manual, internal accounting procedures and ensure compliance with the international accounting standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need a Bachelor's degree of Commerce or equivalent with a final level of CPA/CA or ACCA. You should have a minimum of 4 Years of job related experience within a financial accounting and reporting function, preferably in an airline setting.

You will also have knowledge on Oracle financials and computer skills including MS Excel and MS Word and be able to prepare financial statements independently. You should also have knowledge on IAS/IFRS.

Additionally you will possess proven analytical skills as well as strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
