Charterhouse is currently supporting a Qatar financial services client who is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their team in Doha.

In support of the Director of Operations, this role will take ownership of key activities across areas of strategic planning, reporting and operations analysis whilst having an oversight to internal audit and enterprise risk management frameworks along with a support mechanism to fund administration.

This Analyst shall be tasked with the contribution and development of both business plans and scorecards whilst supporting enterprise risk management tools to deliver any mitigation policy and/or recommendations. At a reporting level, this Analyst shall be actively involved in the provision of MIS capabilities, linking to areas of financial analysis and in the support of fee disbursement to Fund Managers, which also includes any operational and settlement process.

As part of ongoing projects, this Analyst shall also focus towards the overall tracking, reviewing and upgrading across audit controls, business analysis and/or transactional reviews within the trading and consolidation systems.

Requirements

The client is looking to identify a junior and budding professional who is able to deliver a baseline of knowledge and understanding to the organisation within the realm of planning, controls and middle office operations. The candidate must be a fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with an understanding of working within a finance or investment-based organisation.

To be considered for this role, the candidate shall be required to demonstrate strong analytical and systems skills, linking to Excel, and/or other programming or ERP tools. Applicants shall also need to possess solid experience within an audit and/or business processes environment; whereby they are able to deliver expertise within reporting frameworks with an oversight to risk management and operational support.

The client will look for smart, precise and corporate professional whom are trained within either a Big Four or internationally-focused financial services institution from within the GCC market.
