We have a very exciting opportunity to work with one of our clients based in Doha, Qatar. Our client requires a Senior Internal Auditor to work as part of a recently developed team based on a significant contract win within the industry and region.
The Financial Auditor is responsible to protects assets by planning and completing financial audits; identifying inadequate, inefficient, or ineffective internal controls; recommending improvements.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Plans financial audits by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, processes, internal controls and external regulations; identifying risk areas; preparing audit scope and objectives; preparing audit programs
* Supports external auditors by coordinating information requirements
* Provides financial control information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends
* Protects organization's reputation by keeping information confidential
* Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity
* Prepare detailed reports on audit findings
Requirements
* Minimum 6 years professional experience in a similar role
* Minimum Bachelor degree in Finance, Audit, Accounting in any related discipline
* Ideally currently residing in GCC
* Ideally media industry experience
