Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a well-established and successful group. Our client is looking to hire a Financial Controller for a high profile division within the business.
This role will report to the General Manager and have a focus on delivering accurate and timely reports to help support and inform business decisions. You will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting as well as delivering accurate and timely management information and the production of financial statements. You will provide budgeting and forecasting support for a number of individuals and departments across the business and be adept at identifying cost saving measures. It is essential this experience has been gained working in an automotive environment.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) coupled with a minimum of 10 years' experience. You should have a comprehensive understanding of the workings of a finance function and be able to implement and follow processes and procedures to improve the accuracy and depth of information provided by the finance team. It is essential you have significant automotive experience, are an excellent communicator and possess strong management skills.
