Fuel Procurement Administrator

Job description / Role

We are currently recruiting for two Fuel Procurement Administrators to be responsible for making fuel arrangements for day to day flight operations as well as conducting data entry into internal systems.

The key responsibilities for the role includes:
- Controls fuel requirements for Qatar Airways flights according to government and company regulations to expedite and ensure safety of flight.
- Analyse and evaluate meteorological information to determine the most desirable and economic route of flight in case of flight stops.
- Computes the amount of fuel required for the safe completion of flight according to type of aircraft, distance of flight, maintenance limitations, weather conditions and vastious other factors.
- Responsible for entering fuel data by inputting fuel uplift information on a daily basis.
- Maintain data entry requirements by following the system techniques and procedures.
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will hold a minimum of a Trade of Vocational qualification with a minimum of 3 years of job-related experience.

In addition to this, you will have the following attributes:
- Dispatch background is preferred
- Knowledge of the aviation industry
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Fluent in English Language - including reading, writing and listening.
- Strong data entry / typing skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Ready to undertake shift work
