Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading utility services company based in Qatar that is looking to significantly grow its team. This organisation specialises in providing energy efficient and pioneering sustainable solutions in the market place. The company provides real estate developers with a comprehensive package of utility management including but not limited to: master planning, design of infrastructure, construction supervision and operation.
As Gas Inspector – HDPE you will work underneath the Engineers to ensure contractors’ work is compliant according to requirements. You will be involved in the testing and pre-commissioning of the gas pipeline. You will also inspect the HDPE welding and write skilled reports for closure of RFI’s as well as daily and welding reports.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent as well as an HDPE certification. You should have a minimum of 5 years’ total experience as an HDPE Inspector and 3 years’ experience in the GCC region.
