Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The General Manager will be responsible for all facets of operations of the company in Qatar, including but not limited to strategy setting, organization, operations, quality control, staffing, sales growth and profitability of the Company. The incumbent would also have responsibility and accountability for retention of contracts, growth of the business, control of operational budgets, and responsibility for delivery of the bottom line.

Description:
- Effective strategic management of the company
- Manage all operational, administrative and financial aspects of the Company by directing and co-ordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives and policies
- Provide strategic direction and structure to operating units
- Manage relationship between actual results, budgets and forecasts
- Initiate cost saving model and controls
- Gross Margin Management
- Ensure staff/employee efficiency according to standards
- Ensure overheads control according to standards
- Achieve contract profitability according to targets
- Prevent claims through regular customer risk assessments
- Develop innovative initiatives to enhance internal efficiency and effectiveness; and revenue generation
- Effective management of people performance
- Proper allocation of resources to all operations to fulfill contract requirements
- Analyze and address employee turnover for 500-1000 Employees Capital
- Ensure appropriate level employee training and development
- Maintain excellent employee motivation, performance management and engagement
- Ensure employees adhere to standards in line with Company policies and procedures
- Client retention and maintaining customer service levels
- Ensure that all required formal customer meetings are scheduled, attended and documented
- Ensure quality service delivery in line with company policies and contract requirements
- New business development
- Develop and enhance robust relationships with the existing client base. Actively seek and develop opportunities to build relationships outside of the current client network to provide opportunities for growth
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the competitor environment in the country/region.
- Involvement in community and business forums and generation of activities to promote public profile

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in an Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering Field
- Master of Business Administration is an advantage
- Fifteen years' relevant work experience (5 Years in GCC Market "preferred Dubai" is a MUST, MENA is proffered)
- Five years' relevant work experience in the GM Role
- A proven track record of building strategic client relationships
- Experience of managing ELV (ICT ) technology projects on medium and large scale

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
