Job description / Role
A well established international retail group handling one of the biggest fashion brands across the world is looking to hire a General Manager to oversee their new retail operation in Dubai, UAE. Someone who has worked for the likes of New Look, Mango, Inditex, C&A, Primark, H & M would be in a strong position.
As the General Manager, you will be overseeing the brand's performance within the GCC region. You will be working closely with the branch managers to ensure that the brand's retail standards are met and optimised. Alongside this, you are expected to build strong relationships with the brand's Regional Managers, Area Managers and Head Office functions.
The role will also involve weekly monitoring of sales performance and sales planning for events. The General Manager is also expected to effectively communicate the company policies to the employees and ensure that they are being followed.
Requirements
* Background in fast fashion, footwear or accessories environment
* Proven track record of success in driving business performance through people
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to influence at a senior level
* Strong passion and interest in the brand
* Languages - Spanish, English, French would be advantageous.
