Job description / Role
Leap29 is currently working with a Government Authority in Qatar who require a GIS Expert. The client is responsible for the delivery of the major infrastructure in Qatar, including rail, metro, highway and expressways. With over US$20 Billion in projects to deliver before 2022, this is an excellent opportunity to work on flagship projects in a stable economic environment. As a result, the client will offer excellent job stability due to the volume of work to deliver in the next 5 years and will offer a generous benefits package.
Responsibilities for the GIS Expert include but not limited to;
- Lead the GIS team for all its services
- Implement and develop GIS specifications and standards
- Identify, promote and advise on GIS and integrated solutions
- Coordinate data with CAD team
- Spatial and temporal analysis of data
Please note that all interviews will be held in London or Dubai, so candidates must be able at to attended interview if successful.

Requirements
- Able to attend an interview in London or Dubai
- BSc/BEng or equivalent in relevant field
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience
- Proven track record in managing a team of GIS professional consultants and analysts
- Member of a GIS related professional body
- Proven success of delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders
