Graphic Designer

Job description / Role

- The Graphic Designer is responsible for the layout and graphic work of all the report-related activities while working closely with the PR and Communication team as needed. This includes creative design for internal and external progress reports, presentations, templates, brochures, flyers, info graphics and any other design support that the department may need.
- Manage the brand – HEMAYA.
- Develop creative strategies to assist the PR team by preparing effective reports and presentation templates to develop unique strategies and creative approaches on projects that integrate the written and artistic messages with a consistent theme. This candidate will be coordinating with the project and program management teams to ensure consistency in reporting.
- Design Advertising and Marketing Campaigns for the Company.
- Design the company magazine and e-newsletters.
- Providing graphic design, layout, still & animated graphics and desktop publishing in support of progress reports, presentations, templates, brochures, flyers, info graphics and any other design support that the project controls team may need.
- Interpreting the reporting needs, thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing a concept to suit their purpose.
- Applying creativity and producing cohesive designs that reflect the creative requirements from a strategy or brief.
- Illustrating the concepts by designing rough layout, and select style and size of type of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
- Using computer software to generate new images.
- Performing test prints, and coordinating electronic transmission, file transfer, printing, cutting, lamination, binding and/or other production details associated with project controls reporting related activities.
- Developing, proof reading and editing outgoing technical reports.
- Providing graphics support to design team
- Assisting reporting team to manage the online dash board

Requirements

- Bilingual (Arabic & English fluency) with Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in graphic design

Design Programs:
- IIIustrator CS6
- InDesign Cs6
- Photoshop

Video Programs:
- Movie maker
- Movie editing
- Microsoft office Skills (Power Point, MS Excel, Access and Word.)
- Working experience with a wide range of media, video editing including computer-aided design
- Fluent in the basic Creative Suite programs such as Dreamweaver, Corel draw, and Flash any other skills such as web design or motion graphics would be highly advantageous.
