Opening mid 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Guest Experience Manager- Waterpark

This position is responsible for the management of the Guest Experience team in the key areas of ticketing, turnstiles, towel/locker rental, information points, valet parking, cabana experience, and VIP experience.

What you will be doing:
- Lead and manage the Guest Services and Butlers department.
- Manage colleagues including their daily attendance, grooming, coaching, and their personal developments.
- Recruit Colleagues, develop and train them.
- Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Manage the ticketing system and ensure that there are procedures in place to generate the ticketing reports.
- Facilitate an efficient and secure entry process to the park.
- Develop and implement products to increase in-park revenue.
- Identify and develop financial/operational opportunities which will increase profit and efficiency for the park.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational systems.
- Develop and prepare the annual operating and capital budget.
- Listen actively and respond to guest feedback. Review and assess guest satisfaction results to continuously improve the guest experience and exceed their expectations.
- Manage VIP experience.
- Perform other duties assigned by the management team.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:
- Degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with proven track records
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Experience in handling ticketing systems.
- Arabic Speaker will be preferred
- Waterpark experience will be preferred.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
- Service-oriented with an eye for details
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
