Head of Banking Operations

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a well-known Qatari based Bank. Our client is looking to hire a Head of Banking Operations who will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

This role is responsible for managing the Operations Division. You will ensure the timely and seamless processing of transactions, overseeing the effectiveness and efficiency of banking processes to produce the highest level of customer service and ensuring financial and operational risk are mitigated. This role has strategic as well as operational and financial elements and it will be important you can add to the continued development of the bank.

Requirements

The successful candidate should hold a Degree in business administration with specialism in either banking or finance from a recognised university. You should have over 15 years experience working within banking operations and have a minimum of 4 years experience working in a similar role with similar responsibility. The majority of your career to date will be in the banking environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known Qatari bank as part of the senior management team.
