Employment: Full Time

The post-holder has overall responsibility for driving organisational efficiency for the customer and contract delivery team. Duties include designing policies, procedures, structures and frameworks that are aligned with internal and external requirements.

You will be responsible for underpinning College effectiveness in the areas of: accreditation, quality assurance, quality improvement, governance, stakeholder engagement, and strategic/operational planning. You will identify and assess the short and long-term operational and strategic needs of the College and design bespoke solutions for enhancing its efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability. You will be required to continuously benchmark policies and procedures against national and international quality assurance and compliance standards as well as leading edge management practices.

The Post-holder is responsible for:

College:
- Guiding the development of Institutional strategic; organisational and operational planning to enhance the viability, sustainability and credibility of the College;
- Managing and monitoring quality assurance and enhancement strategies, policies and procedures within the College to ensure compliance with national and international accreditation requirements, most notably, the Supreme Education Council in Qatar;
- Implementing and monitoring the impact of the JBJJCSC Institutional Effectiveness Plan;
- Designing, managing and monitoring the effectiveness of College policies and processes to effectively utilise resources while enhancing the quality and quantity of services for internal and external stakeholders;
- Leading the establishment and use of information management to inform evidence-based decision making, planning and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Serco JBJJCSC Project Delivery:
- Managing internal and external audits, governance processes and compliance reviews for the Serco Project Team;
- Developing and streamlining processes, policies, procedures and plans in line with Serco Management System requirements;
- Contributing to the Serco Project risk management; records management; contract delivery and internal and external reporting requirements;
- Enhancing partnership working arrangements with internal and external stakeholders;
- Enhancing a culture of continuous quality improvement within the Serco Project Team.

Requirements

- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, leadership and change management roles, ideally in a higher education institution;
- Educated to Masters level in business, social sciences or related fields;
- Experience of designing quality assurance and quality enhancement policies and procedures;
- Experience of aligning internal and external quality assurance and compliance processes;
- Experience of leading change management and/or strategic planning processes;
- Experience of corporate governance and/or risk management frameworks;
- Experience of utilising information and knowledge management to underpin decision-making processes;
- Achieved success through partnership working;
- Strong project management skills;
- Proven ability to build relationships with and engage internal and external stakeholders;
- Able to work independently, using own initiative, with minimal supervision;
- Ability to influence, negotiate and perform under pressure;
- Understands the sensitivities of a customer-service culture;
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and professional development.
