Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Leading institution with aggressive growth plans is looking to hire an experience individual with at least 15+ years experience in Marketing & Corporate Communications.

Working alongside the senior management team to create and promote the instituions brand through media presence, events and other channels including the website and social media.

- Act as a brand champion and central authority for the effective use of the corporate identity.
- Establish, refine and administer effective communication strategies that are aligned with the institutions vision, mission and business goals.
- Execute internal communication plans to enhance client and employee engagement and understanding of the institutions brand, strategy and objectives.
- Present an annual budget covering all expenses required to execute the marketing and communication plan.
- Manage and implement all external channels of communication including, coordinate media interest in the organization and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media request; build and manage relationships with key media on the local and regional level.
- Develop and maintain content of website and ensure it is kept up to date. Manage the design, content development and ongoing maintenance of the website, working with external design parties.
- Deliver regular and timely communication to employees through a range of channels, ensuring clarity and consistency of messages to enhance employee engagement and understanding amongst employees of the institutions brand, strategy and objectives.
- Create, develop and organize activities/functions for the benefit of the institution for external and internal stakeholders and employees.
- Establish and manage a crisis communication plan with relevant messages consistent with corporate guidelines and communicate to relevant media channels.
- Identify, evaluate and recommend new communication opportunities using new media channels in a cost effective way. Read and research industry trends and issues. Identify appropriate PR opportunities.
- Develop and manage a relevant CSR strategy that is consistent with the business strategy. Organize community based events and encourage employee participation.
- Coach and administer direct reports to develop their skills. Monitor day to day management of staff.
- Undertake such activities as may be necessary to fulfil the marketing and communications function of the organization and/or as may be assigned from time to time including, managing Investor Relations.

Salary will be dependent on experience but in the range of USD 250,000 per annum, plus full benefits

Requirements

- Fluent Arabic and English speaker (this is not a flexible requirement)
- Experience of at least 15+ years experience in Marketing / Corporate Communications.
- Strong on-the-ground regional exposure.
- Established relationships with Media agencies in the Gulf.
