Head of Workshop - Specialist Foundation Contractor - Qatar

Client is the subsidiary of one of the largest construction contractors in the Middle East, who are head quartered in Europe. They have more than 100 years experience in various foundation techniques which it has implemented in all its branches. They are now seeking a Head of Workshop to join their team in Qatar.

* Responsible for all technicians responsible for performing maintenance of all foundation equipment.
* Maintenance of spare parts, purchase management of materials for maintenance
* Scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities to minimise disruption to the work plan.
* Review and monitor work orders
* Ensure high safety standards are in place for all activities related to the workshop and technical interventions on site

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years experience working with construction equipment. They will have proven experience working with foundation equipment (Bauer, Soilmec, Klemm etc.) and have experience in leading a team successfully. You must be fluent in English, Arabic would be an advantage.

If you are currently based in Qatar, you must have an NOC to apply for this position.
