Housing & Allocation Officer - Corporate Services - Doha

In this role you will be responsible for the allocation of company’s accommodation properties in Doha, in accordance with Qatar Airways’ policies and procedures, contributing to the overall successful performance of the Facilities and Properties Team. You will be effectively supporting the facilities team to minimise vacant rental costs by keeping accurate records of the vacant units and ensuring prompt occupancy. You are responsible for making accurate and timely decisions, often in pressurised situations. You will coordinate with finance/payroll to ensure that both HRA and Non HRA staff are correctly documented. You will carry out familiarisation visits to new and existing company accommodation to garner better understanding of user queries.

You will ensure that the properties used by Qatar Airways staff are in good state of repair and report of any maintenance requirements to the Facilities Team. You will be responsible to review the check – in form received from the recruitment team; ensuring employees are allotted appropriate accommodation as per their eligibility. You should also ensure issuance of the tenancy form with list of inventory to the employee to sign. The job requires interacting with all levels of employees within and outside the organisation and ensures that a prompt and appropriate response should go to all the employees’ queries.

Requirements

You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent on either the field of Hospitality, Computer Science or Business Administration with minimum 4 years of job related experience. You should have at least one or two years of experience in housing or facilities management in a large organisation, preferably in a multi – cultural environment. You should have proven knowledge of basic building construction and common repair problems. You should have an understanding of Landlord and Tenant obligations and issues surrounding the joining staff.

We are looking for someone with intensive customer service experience with good problem solving and communication skills. You should be able to work flexibly on own initiative and part of a team. Command in Arabic language will be an advantage.
