Employment: Full Time

Our client, an established company seeks to employ HR Business Partners for their offices in Qatar. This role is responsible for providing guidance and HR advocacy with business leaders to align the culture and vision of the organization by leveraging expertise in people practices, programs, policies, processes and technologies in order to create business value and high performance culture. This role is considered as a lead for various HR initiatives that will be agreed on a yearly basis and applied in the assigned divisions.

Responsibilities:
- Works within moderately complex environment and predefined long and medium term vision, goals, and strategies
- Collaborate with the Business Leaders/GMs on all strategic issues such as manpower planning, business expansion and succession planning which may have long term effect on the operation
- Provides inputs and recommends solutions on all employee related issues i.e. grievances and conflicts in the workplace, disciplinary management, poor-performance issues and learning and development plan
- Act as trusted advisor to the leadership team and employee advocate to improve organization capability and performance
- Train division coordinators and concerned line managers on all HR-related transactions in assigned divisions
- Provide professional human resource services and support to sustain tactical HR plans of the assigned business units
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues ensuring that all policies and practices are applied and in compliance with Qatar labour law
- Records and analyses data findings to the management
- Continuous follow through on Medical Insurance issues within the assigned divisions
- Maintain Knowledge transfer to the Division Coordinator at the assigned Divisions pertaining: interviewing skills, JD writing etc
- Analyses the assigned stream/division resources requirements and provides input into the man power planning process
- Supports the process of objectives settings for the division along with the line managers of the assigned division.
- Conducts and analyses competency gap requirements to provide inputs for development needs
- Uses data and day-to-day exposure within the division to be an effective member of the Business Review meeting of the division on a quarterly basis
- Able to analyse the current division commission scheme and even able to provide feedback on developmental areas of the scheme
- Use data and research to gain insights to support/develop business decision making and business strategy (short to medium term) for multiple functional units
- Identifies the root causes of the needs or improvement opportunity for HR policies and procedures and recommends changes where needed
- Spot new opportunities to improve business performance using HR expertise in designing programs and initiatives to meet the client division needs
- Use innovative solutions to facilitate not just a process but a mind-set change or improvement at multiple functional levels
- Ensure Manpower Demand Plan is timely met and quarterly report/update is provided with Recruitment Team and Sr. HRBP
- Be part of the Interviewing process for all applicants for the assigned divisions and providing informative feedback on the same
- Conduct Exit interviews on assigned business units
- Participates in reviewing the Job Descriptions prepared/sent from the division prior sending them to Rewards team for evaluation
- Leads or coaches employees on HR processes and policies. Recommends appropriate action to address policy violation
- Guide and coach Line Managers in dealing with all employee relations cases to ensure company policies and practices are applied and in accordance with Qatar labor law
- Ensures that new recruits are enrolled in the Group NEO program within the same month of joining or the following one at most and that they are properly inducted into the operations
- Liaise with the divisions line managers on the performance management process of their sub-ordinates
- Organize and implement effective new employee on-boarding experiences
- Provides support to line managers and business leads/GMs in managing succession, conducting talent reviews and potential assessments, managing internal talent pools, applying career path principles to make talent flow through the pipelines, and promoting diversity in leadership
- After receiving the HR-related transaction requests properly prepared by the division Coordinator, do a final validation on the same to ensure accuracy of employee details and to ensure compliance with group policies, labor law, division budget and others as applicable
- Participates in the implementation process of C&B activities such as PDP bonus, Commission schemes, and Merit increases in assigned divisions. Works closely and provides input to concerned line managers, as and when required
- Responsible for the production of HR updates for the assigned client divisions
- Provide training, counsel, and support to management and employees on all HR related processes where needed
- Participates in the training needs analysis for employees of the division
- Communicates and follow up on execution/rollout of all HR initiatives
- Provides inputs and facilitates the short and medium term strategic planning process for the assigned division such as Employees Career development & succession planning

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree, preferably in Human Resources Accredited Professional Qualifications in Human Resources (i.e. CIPD- Level 5 intermediate or Level 7 Advanced/ SHRM- CP or SCP) or equivalent is advantageous
- 5-7 years general HR experience preferably with GCC exposure with at least 2 years handling supervisory role.
- Prior experience as HR Generalist in a mid to large scale organization with diverse and complex environment HRMS background is preferred, ideally oracle-based and MS-Office suite
- Experience working with key stakeholders to develop value-added solutions that are aligned with the overall HR strategy Prior experience in recruiting and employee relations is preferred Good management reporting/facilitation/leadership
- Effective communication skills in English and preferably in Arabic
- Ability to work independently
