Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Acts as a consultant particularly on issues related to JV’s strategy execution and change, talent management, performance management, employee relations; mediate between HR and its customers to resolve any issues.
- Provides sound advice and support to JV’s leadership and line managers on all employee relations issues, including termination matters (e.g. terminations for poor performance or misconducts, etc.)
- Supports JV management of investigations and escalated employee issues, co-ordinate the gathering of information and the conduct of meetings with those involved.
- Helps identify the talent capabilities required at JV to execute the organizational strategy.
- Provides advocacy and advice on employee matters.
- Ensures proper and efficient delivery of essential HR services to JV by evaluating HR effectiveness and recommending an improved service delivery model for JV.
- Conducts analysis on JV’s behavioral and structural change and provides advice and support to Nakilat on all aspects within HR services.
- Acts as an employee champion and change agent in delivering and sustaining corporate change initiatives.
- Supports in establishing a business partnership mindset to foster change and optimization of HR functions.
- Supports in establishing achieving its goals by creating a balanced partnership between Nakilat & JVs.
- Maintains effective and continuous communication with JVs to ensure alignments and business objectives are achieved and sustained.
- Assists in identifying, developing and delivering integrated human resources solutions.
- Performs other task and duties that may be from time to time required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of Nakilat’s JVs.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or in a related discipline is required.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR roles is required with a strong focus on Business Partnership.
- Oil & Gas and / or Shipping Transportation experience is preferred.
- Middle East experience is essential.
- Generalist HR experience within an HR environment
- Significant experience of providing advice and support on a range of key activities including conduct, grievance, capability, absence, and organizational change and employee relations matters.
- Excellent communication skills both written & oral.
