Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

HR manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures;
- Creates organizational structure and maintains it by updating and creating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
- Establishes a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program
- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions
- Counsels managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing interviews; recommending changes in recruitment and selection process
- Develops performance management system
- Establishes and conducts training programs for the staff
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals
- Creates budget plan for HR Department and oversees payroll system
- Deals with and resolves employee grievances and counsels employees and supervisors
- Ensures legal compliance with Qatar Labour Law
- Creates and updates human resources policies and procedures
- Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records
- Supervises all government related issues (visas, RPs)

Requirements

- A bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in HR.
- Experience within F&B, Hospitality or Construction Industry and Arabic language skills would be preferred but not essential.
