Employment: Full Time

HR Welfare Officer - Qatar Duty Free - Doha

Reporting to HR Manager, you will effectively advise and assist new employees in accommodation, attend to emergencies such as accidents, repatriation of staff, recommend recreational facilities in Doha.

You will provide care and support to employees who are recognized as being in need of counseling though illness or other personal challenges. It will be your job to assist to establish policies, guidelines and standard procedures in the provision of welfare to be utilised by the line managers.

You will be responsible for ensuring that housing data is maintained in terms of vacant or occupied villas or apartments. Keep abreast with the market fluctuations and maintain records of rising / falling rents, school fees, car rentals etc and be aware of changes in government rules and regulations. You will coordinate with the hospitals, government agencies & local police in the completion of all paper works and formalities in case of accident or death and repatriation of staff.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strong leader whilst possessing exceptional presentation skills. Ideally you will be within a similar culture in a large organization. A minimum of 4 years of job related experience in a travel / retail / hospitality industry. A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related discipline is highly desirable.
