Illustrator

Job description / Role

The Illustrator will work under the direction of the DRS Manager preparing illustrations and renderings of design schemes. This position is responsible for providing graphics at a high quality standards, in a timely manner and in accordance with the Client’s expectations. Upon employment, the Illustrator will be required to demonstrate advanced hand rendering skills and to possess the design sense, required to productively work within the profession.

- Prepare conceptual and schematic illustrative perspectives, illustrations, storyboards and graphics for architectural projects both internal and external.
- Show an understanding of scale and massing in the urban environment as wekk as knowledge of basic architectural typologies
- Assist in the preparation of reports, project documentation, presentation drawings
- Undertake project related tasks professionally and independently as directed by senior team members
- Performs other related tasks as directed

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Architecture
- Minimum 5 years of similar rendering experience in a professional environment
- Knowledgeable in 2D and 3D
- Fluency in English, verbal and written
