Job description / Role
Our client is a newly built Medical Clinic in Doha. We require experienced Insurance specialists to set up and manage activities related to insurance the clinic and its customers.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise available resources such as internet, RTS system, phones, etc., to obtain insurance benefits information for scheduled visits, in advance of appointment time
- Work to identify and resolve issues regarding missing patient demographic information
- Complete insurance verification work list for pending insurance verifications
- Coordinate information from the patient, physicians, office staff, clinicians, and employers as needed to complete the insurance verification process
- Communicate situations projected to result in a significant non-covered balance to the Billing Supervisor and Manager
- Communicate effectively with management to identify issues that affect the insurance verification process and suggest improvements
- Communicate benefit detail to clinic site staff when warranted to ensure collections of co-pays, deductibles, & outstanding balances
- Reply timely and accurately to requests for benefits verification and non-covered services by various personnel.
- Work closely with Eligibility staff in order to ensure scheduling of appointments with patients
Requirements
- Candidates should have insurance in a medical environment - hospital or clinic.
- At least 3 years experience, ideally in Qatar or region.
- Relevant degree and certifications.
- Understanding of insurance policy in a medical environment.
- Arabic speakers are preferred.
